This session walks attendees through the Maintenance of Effort (MOE) requirements of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Presenters will discuss both MOE Eligibility and Compliance, review exceptions that can reduce the various MOE thresholds, and go over the query used to capture the state and local amounts spent and budgeted to support special education and related services. The presentation will also include a short review of the MOE Calculator used to document and determine a district’s MOE status.

Public Corruption: The FBI's #1 Priority

In this presentation, FBI agents from the FBI Louisville Division will define public corruption and then detail a variety of public corruption cases recently investigated, summarizing how each case was investigated. Considerations for Setting Tax Rates and General Obligation Bonding
